Major warning: After a night of major bugfixing it was discovered this morning that there is a game breaking bug at the end  of level 2, not enough enemies spawn. If you wish to continue enjoying the game refresh and replay the first 2 levels. I cannot fix this bug until after both jams are over the voting phase . 

A game made in 4 days for the BTP and Darktober Gamejams.

Explore the randomly generated maze on a quest to destroy as many bugs as you can find!

Control the character with WSAD or Arrows, Fire with left click and reload with R.

All art, SFX and music made within the time constraints of the jam, by myself, Fatal Exit.

Art made in Affinity Designer, Music & SFX made in Fl Studio and BFXR.

Made with Construct 3.

nice game! Shadow mechanic was definitely well executed, and i found myself constantly running into rooms and getting slaughtered by the wasp shooting dudes. overall nice game!

For anyone who discovers the bug at the end of the second level here's a fixed version of the game as a new itch page: https://fatal-exit.itch.io/pumpkin-debugger-fixed-version Unfortunately I cannot replace the original version until after the BTP jam voting has ended.

Note to anyone who discovers the end of level 2 bug, yes I know about it unfortunately there's nothing I can do until voting is over.

Very spooky! I really like the shadow mechanic, it really builds up the tension, as well as the music.

Thank you very much! This was my first game using that mechanic. Also I spent a lot of time on the music.
